Intended Audience

Employees, Contractors, or Volunteers with a phone extensions who need to check their voicemail from the browser.

This is specifically for checking voicemails through the foundation's phone system from a browser. See this page for help with accessing your voicemail from a desk phone.

Teams calls use a different voicemail system. Voicemails from Teams can be viewed directly in the app and should send an email with an audio file and transcription.

Step-by-step guide

  1. You must be on the Colonial Williamsburg network to access your voicemail. To access the network, you can either:
    1. Be on site and:
      1. If you are using a desktop computer at your desk, it should already be on the network.
      2. If you are using a laptop connected to a docking station, you may already be connected to the network.
      3. Connect to Staff Secure wifi using your laptop, android, or apple device.
    2. Connect to the VPN.
  2. Open your browser and navigate to https://voicemail.cwf.org.

This works best in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge while on a CWF provided workstation. Using a non-CWF workstation or other browsers such as Firefox may present a security warning.

If you receive a page that looks like this, you should first revisit step 1. If you are confident that you are connected to the network and still get this page then you will need to contact the helpdesk.

  3. Click on Web Access

  4. You will be asked to sign in. Click on the Office 365 option.

  5. Sign in with your CWF Account

  6. Accept the permissions.

You should only have to do this once.

  7. To access your voicemail, click on "Messages"
