Problem
You are using the IX Workplace (formally Equinox) application and are receiving errors at the top in the form of a red triangle.
You may also be noticing a popup error that says the connection to the phone server is lost.
Having this error will cause calls to fail. You may miss incoming calls. So this should not be ignored.
Solution
This typically happens when you change something in the way your computer connects to the network. For instance, when you connect to a VPN, your network connection changes so that you are allowed onto the CW network from a remote location. This change causes these errors.
Correcting this is as easy as signing off the application and signing back in. Click the silhouette of a person, then click "sign out". Then click the orange "sign in" button.
The error should be gone at this point and you should be able to make and receive calls. If there are other error messages, seek help from the IT Support folks.
