If you would like to access your CW issued computer remotely from another machine here at CW or from your home you can do so using Microsoft’s “Remote Desktop Connection” application.
- To open the “Remote Desktop Connection” application in the search bar on the bottom left hand of corner type in “Remote Desktop Connection.” You should see the application appear in search results. Click the application to open
Once opened you will need to enter your computer’s T# in the “Computer” field. Your username should already be filled in but if not enter as shown below with “CWF\” then your windows username. Once you click “connect” a window will open to your remote machine’s desktop.
- Once opened you will see the windows desktop of the remote computer.
- To end the session click the windows icon in the remote machine window then power button and select "Disconnect"
