It is the responsibility of IT Contacts to read the ITS Change Management notifications and communicate changes as necessary within the appropriate business area. The IT Contacts will receive up to thee emails per change–one when the change is approved and scheduled, a reminder within the 24 hours prior to the start of the change, and one when the change is complete. The email notifications will include:

  • a description of the change
  • the components affected by the changethe change–a component is the IT Service, for example, Email
  • the start and end date and time of the change
  • the member of IT who will be implementing the change
  • the status of the change
    • "Awaiting Implementation" means the change has been approved and scheduled and is pending implementation
    • "Done" means the change is complete
    • "Implementation Review" means IT will be reviewing the implementation of the change before it is moved to the "Done" status
