Due to recent changes to the Microsoft 365 license structure a portion of our users are now restricted to using the online versions of the standard M365 applications, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  This means they must be accessed via a web browser such as Edge, Chrome or Safari.  These users will receive the following message when trying to access the desktop versions of the application:


If you feel your job necessitates using the desktop version of the standard applications please submit a system access request from the Employee Directory.

Mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones or personal Android devices can still use the mobile versions of these apps.

Accessing M365 web applications 

  • Open your web browser of choice, Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari etc. 
  • On CW workstations the default homepage is our in-house intranet page.  From any other computer you can type https://intranet.cwf.org. 
  • On the top left of the page click on the 9 dots:


  • From there you can select any of the applications you have access to and it will open the application in the browser
