When a contractor or volunteer is no longer working at Colonial Williamsburg, his or her record should be removed from the Employee Directory by the person's supervisor. A person's contractor or volunteer record should also be removed if the person converts to a regular employee. A new employee record will be created automatically. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. In your web browser, visit the Employee Directory (http://employeedirectory/) and click the My Employees tab. Then click Contractors or Volunteers, depending on the classification of the person you want to remove. The rest of this guide will be for a volunteer but the same instructions apply to remove a contractor. 



  2. You will see a grid containing your current volunteers. Click the Profile link for the volunteer you want to remove. 



  3. Click the Remove button. 



  4. Click Yes to confirm.



  5. The volunteer will be immediately removed from your list and from the Employee Directory.
