To install any apps or software updates on your iPhone or iPad, you must know your Apple ID password. This same password permits you to log into iCloud and use "Find my iPhone" tool, which is very handy.

If you do not know this password, please visit iforgot.apple.com to reset it now. This process takes about two minutes.

Because your Apple ID is a personal account, I.T. Services is not able to reset this password.

  1. Visit iforgot.apple.com and enter your Apple ID. This is the email address associated with your Apple account.

  2. Choose the option to reset your password.

  3. Choose the option to Get an email.

  4. Apple will send an email to your linked email address. Open that email and verify you wish to reset your password.

  5. You will be prompted to update the Apple password which is stored on any Apple devices linked to your Apple ID.
