Starting with OneDrive is easy, but it isn't without its quirks in our environment. Follow this document to avoid confusion.

Start the OneDrive application on your computer, but beware there could be two. One of them comes with was installed as a part of the Microsoft Office suite and the other comes by itselfwould have been independently installed. In the example below, the top one is the correct one. However, depending on which version of Windows you run on your computer, these icons could look different. 
The better good way to determine which to use is would be by clicking one at a time to open them. If you see this screen, it's the wrong one, and you should cancel it:
If you see this screen, it is the correct one and you should follow the prompts:
Enter your email address and click Sign in. That's it!
