Firefox

Backup

  1. Click the Library button 57 library icon , then click Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Show all Bookmarks.

  2. From the toolbar on the Library window, click f60cc26c38fc04cce87eb6ea6ec8c400-1259975468-619-1.png Import and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML....
  3. In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work.
  4. Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
  5. Close the Library window.


Restore

  1. Click the Library button 57 library icon , then click Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Show all Bookmarks.

  2. From the toolbar on the Library window, click f60cc26c38fc04cce87eb6ea6ec8c400-1259975468-619-1.png Import and Backup and choose Import Bookmarks from HTML...
  3. In the Import Bookmarks File window that opens, navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing and select the file.
  4. Click the Open button. The Import Bookmarks File window will close.
  5. Close the Library window.

Chrome

Backup

  1. At the top right, click More More.
  2. select Bookmarks manager, or press [CTRL] + [Shift] + [O] on your keyboard. 
  3. Now, click the Organize menu > Export bookmarks to HTML file:
  4. Choose a location to save the file, and then click Save.

Restore

  1. At the top right, click More More.
  2. Select Bookmarks and then Import Bookmarks and Settings.
  3. Select the program that contains the bookmarks you'd like to import.
  4. Click Import.
  5. Click Done.

Internet Explorer

Backup

  1. Click the Favorites icon      in the upper right corner.
  2. Click the down arrow next to Add to favorites (or press Alt+Z on your keyboard as a shortcut).
  3. Select Import and export in the pop-up menu.
  4. In the Import/Export Settings window, select Export to a file and click Next.
  5. Check the box for Favorites and click Next.
  6. Select the folder of favorites you want to export and click Next.
  7. Click the Browse button to select where to save the favorites file on your computer and click OK.
  8. Click the Export button to backup the favorites, then click Finish.

Restore to Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Favorites icon Image Removed in icon Image Added in the upper right corner.
  2. Click the down arrow ellipsis Image Added next to Add to favorites (or press Alt+Z on your keyboard as a shortcut)to Favorites.
  3. Select Import and export in favorites in the pop-up menu.
  4. In the Import/Export Settings window, select Import from a file and click Next.
  5. Check the box for Favorites and click Next.
  6. Click the Browse button to find and select the backup favorites file on your computer and click OK.
  7. Select a favorites folder to import the backup favorites into.
  8. Click the Import button to restore the favorites, then click Finish.
