The computer replacement process has been updated and automated in order to more efficiently process the replacement of old equipment.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open ATS in any web browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) by going to http://assets 

    An email containing a link to the Asset system is also sent when the replacements are generated.



  2. You should see a screen similar to the one below.  Click on the "My Replacements" link in the top bar.  




  3. This will open a list of the assets assigned to you that are currently eligible for replacement.  You will need to process each asset individually.  Select the first one you would like to process and click the "Make Replacement Selection" button.



  4. This will give you several choices shown here:


    If your replacement is a like for like replacement, laptop for laptop or desktop for desktop, the process is complete here. There will be a ticket generated in Service Desk and you will be contacted by ESI to schedule a time to install the new computer. 

    You can monitor the progress and status of your replacement system at: https://itsupport.cwf.org and click on "Requests" button at the top right of the page.


  5. If you are not replacing your current computer with a standard desktop computer and select the 5th option above you will be directed to the next screen to make your selection.

    If you require something more custom than the options shown please select the last option in step 4. A new window or tab will open where you can submit your request.  Custom requests will be treated as New Equipment Requests

    Contact Information Technology Services, ITS, at ext. 7300 or by submitting a Service Request at https://itsupport.cwf.org if you have additional questions.


  6. Once you have filled in all of the required information click the "Submit" button.  Once your replacement selection has gotten the proper approvals a ticket will be generated in Service Desk and you will be contacted by ESI to schedule the installation.  Like the standard desktop replacement you can monitor the progress of the replacement at https://itsupport.cwf.org
